Do you bring ALL your tint shades with you?
Yes! All shades – All the time!
What if I have GPS, Satellite-TV/Radio and/or security system in my automobile?
We would suggest using our non-conductive window tint, Carbon by Suntek or Greystone. This carbon-dyed construction provides a great look that will not fade.
There are no metal layers that may interfere with cell phone, radio, or navigation systems signals. Carbon provides excellent optical clarity while reducing day and nighttime glare.
What are the warranties for the tints?
All are Lifetime warranties.
How long will it take to get a tinting job done?
About 2 to 3 hours depending on how many windows are getting tinted.
How do I clean my windows to ensure it lasts as long as possible?
We recommend a soft cloth, such as a baby diaper or T-shirt. You can use just soap and water. Be sure to read the label that it does not contain ammonia. If you use a professional window cleaner, let them know which windows are tinted.
If you remove the old tint on the back windshield, will it harm my defroster?
There might be a slight chance that it will, especially with tint that has been on the car for a long time. We use the best techniques to remove the tint like steaming.
What are the California State Laws on Tinting?
The windshield can have 4″ from the top of tint and the front driver side window can have 70% tint or higher. All other windows can have any amount of tint. Restricted colors in California are red, amber, and blue.
*Front window tinting is not recommended*
On newer cars, when the windows are tinted do you have to do anything special?
We will have to remove the door panel to place felt on the rubber gasket. The reason we do this is to cut down on the rubbing between the tint and rubber.
